Helices
2019 Saul Bell Award
- First place in Fine Collection
Helices are three - dimensional spiral curves. Not only being the most fascinating structures in mathematics, helices are also important in biology, as the DNA molecule is formed as two intertwined helices, and many proteins have helical substructures. The Helices collection is trying to explore this mysterious spiral structure in order to inspire people’s curiosity of the connection between physical and spiritual worlds.
